Saugerties Lighthouse Conservancy
The Lighthouse is owned by the Saugerties Lighthouse Conservancy, a not-for-profit organization. The purpose of the Conservancy is to maintain and operate the Lighthouse for the benefit of the public as well as to educate visitors of the value and heritage of the treasured landmark of the Hudson River. Mission
The mission of the Conservancy includes:
To make the historical resources of the lighthouse available to the public through education, exhibition and interpretation.
To be involved in the restoration, research, collection, preservation, and dissemination of information about the Saugerties Lighthouse.
To secure the safe management and protection of the Lighthouse and such related resources that may come under its jurisdiction.
